I've been trying to find this info for a while. Yes, I believe that it should be possible to hook in to the OEM roof-mount aerial, but I haven't yet found out how. For the time being, I have installed an internal glass-mount integrated into a tax disc holder.

Thanks for the reply peter after 2 hours hunting for the cable (as the nice man at audi technical said "if the aerial fitted to your car has 3 outputs then 1 of them is for the phone") it turns out one is for the tv,one is for the radio, and one is for the sat nav !!!!! or at least thats where the 3 leads from my aerial go to .
so i also fitted a glass mount aerial like you(seems to work fine)
so it seems the only way to find out where the aerial is on a factory fitted phone is to find someone with one and ask if you can have a look ha ha .
as if someone is going to let you take there car apart !! i think not .
anyway the point is it seems that the nice people at audi technical dont know what they are talking about

so if there is any one out there with a factory phone prep in there RS6 and knows where the aerial connection is me and peter would like to know
thanks mark

Did you trace the wires end-end? I thought that the TV aerial(s) were embedded in the side windows (on the Avant) - I didn't think that the roof aerial was also involved. I keep looking at ETKA, but I can't quite see how it all hangs together. Perhaps another gander at my A6 Bentley manual is called for. Also, I'm taking the wife's A2 in for service tomorrow - I'll have another go at the dealer about it.

When you do find out I'd love to know too.
