How wide is your radio

Can someone let me now accurately how wide the Audi factory radio's are.
On my RS2 there are a couple of spacers fitted either side of the standard DIN radio slot, but I'm not sure if it still would be wide enough with these removed.
If it is big enough I would like to fit an Audi radio as I like the factory look - so if anyone has one knocking around let me know?
