oil service light reset

Hi guys,

Quick question for a friend.. he's got a 1996 UK Audi A4 diesel & needs the service indicator resetting - any ideas how? (the trip reset button doesn't work - I guess this is just for later cars). I've got a Vag-com if that's needed.

You will need your VAG-COM and the procedure to follow is detailed in this link
