Hello,
For RS4 users of VAG-Com (or anyone who may konw that info specifically) :
- Which VAG-Com interface are you using on your RS4 ?
(I assume you all bought one of of those shown here http://www.vag-com.co.uk/products.htm)
- Did you buy the so-called Bentley CD-Rom ? If so, does it cover the RS4 or only the A4-S4 imported in the US ?
Many thanks,
Eric

Re: Which VAG-Com for the RS4 ?
The choice of VAG-COM interface lead is entirely up to you.
I have the HEX-COM adapter, as it means the interface is not restricted to one PC, so I can loan it out without sending my laptop too.
I also have the Bentley CD, and it does not cover the RS4. It is produced in Yanksville, and I guess that seeing as though they never got the RS4, they left it out. Fair enough really.

I havent got Vagcom yet, as i havent got a laptop, but when i do, i will be looking at the HEX-USB as mentioned on the ross tech manufacturers site.
http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/hex-usb.html
all the benifits of a ready to go dongle, with no activation rubbish(i frequently wipe HD's etc, so would have to keep, deactivating/activating etc) and the latest connection (as serial is slowly disapearing on some laptops)
