Yesterday morning, after a short drive, I restarted the engine and had the following failures:
Parking Brake Fault
TPMS Fault
Stabilisation Control (ECS) Fault
Sport Differential: Malfunction
Steering System Fault. You can continue driving
I cannot imagine that all of these systems failed within seconds of each other - particularly as I was practically stationary at the time
Resetting the TPMS via the MMI cleared that fault
Cycling the EPB cleared the Parking Brake Fault
...I checked a few forums and noticed a low voltage could be the issue... have checked the battery (80%) to topped up with charger; 3 warnings (ECS/Diff/Steering) remain active.
Suggestions are that the wheel speed sensor could be at fault - have seen rear sensor faults reported but have not seen a thread that includes the Steering System Fault...does anyone have any experience of this fault and was it just the sensor (guessing front wheel - as to trigger the Steering System Fault)???
Any assistance greatly appreciated
