Best Andriod RNSE replacement

Post by Evopilot » Sat Sep 22, 2018 8:53 pm

So my RNSE on the RS4 doesn't work and im not keen on replacing it, i like the idea of an android double din head unit but cant make up my mind what ones are nice and basically doesn't look tacky as hell... i want something that looks the part, can install apps and has google maps etc the usual :rocker:

What model have others gone for or recommend?

Also would you use a unit built for a A4 or get a fascia plate/adapter and use a regular double din head unit in the car?

Good post. I’m currently looking into this. I firstly thought of the alpine ilx-107 for wireless apple CarPlay but I’m not sure I would use it enough to warrant the cost. And the times I would want to play music from my phone, Bluetooth would be suffice. The only other thing that would bother me is I wouldn’t use the all singing all dancing features so would be a bit of a waste.

Cheers
