Hi can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong. 2009 RS6 AUDI DVD SATNAV MMI 2g HI.
I can't seem to get the SatNav voice to shout up instructions at start, on route or ever.
I turned up the volume in the settings for Nav but the only time I can make her speak is when I press the bottom left menu for NAV Info whilst on route and she repeats the last direction quite clearly and at good volume yet nothing is offered automatically.

All help greatly appreciated!

Tried reading the manual?

Press SETUP while in SAT NAV mode and check your settings. Voice ON and volume set correctly.

Thanks, just found I have a manual, which I thought was on a CD somewhere, sorry only had the car a week or so.

Yep found it many thanks, did'nt realise I could press SETUP whilst in NAV and get a new menu hadnt seen before.
Found the lap counter and oil temp as well, very imressive for a 2009 car!
