Audi security, keyless thefts

Post by mrbubba » Mon Jul 10, 2017 6:15 pm

I pick up my first ever Audi on Saturday, it's a 2010 S4.
I want to try and improve the security, so that it doesn't go missing off my driveway one night. keyless thefts are very common round here.

Is there anything currently around for Audi to help prevent this? My friend moved he OBD port on his M135i, I'm assuming this can also be done to the S4?

Any recommendations on thatcham alarms and immobiliser?

Thanks

Saturday can't come soon enough!

1. Move obd (as you suggest) so it cannot be accessed without the drivers door open and the dash end cap removed (the fuse board cover)

2. Pentagon Supaglass front window laminate films

3. If the car has keyless, turn off keyless in the cars MMI menu, revert to pressing the button on the remote to unlock
