As subject title.

Was fine and then poomph - just turned off and never came back again. Tried re-set - to no avail Checked fuses - all good. MMI screen comes on and then goes black - no lights on MMI console panel - nav, radio, setup, etc

Seems to be a common audi problem yet no one seems to know why, or how to prevent / fix without shelling out 100's or 1000's to audi dealers.

Thoughts?

It was the optic board in the amp for the MOST. This was replaced by the dealer and under warranty - only had the car since March.

Also, when it was re-fitted it had to be re-coded to the car to enable the rhs speakers to be active. An audi anti-theft measure apparently.
