S6 electrical issues

Post by buddyboy » Mon Nov 09, 2015 3:59 pm

So the two issues i have so far found with my s6 is front passenger door doesn't not open from the outside, and condensation in the rear lights, which has been causing it to throw an intermittent bulb issue I hear they are both common issues.

For the passenger door, i presume its just replacing the door lock mechanism fixes the issue.

I think mine has the highline rear lights, so the only fix for these seems to be drill holes in the bottom? Where is the moisture getting in from? I wouldn't expect such poor parts quality from a brand like Audi! is there any go-to aftermarket replacements that would be more reliable? I see some decdante ones being mentioned, but i dont want to cheapen the look of the car putting them on.

Apart from these two issues so far everything is good electrically. Any advice on the above would be appreciated
