Sounds like either my front speaker or tweeter is on the way out. Lots of very annoying crackling.

Are there any easy replacement options for a RS4 B7 with BOSE ?

I could just get a used speaker or tweeter from ebay but would rather replace with something that sounds better.

Seems like Bose complicates things.

Your best bet is to probably replace them with the same. The trouble is the bose amplifier is eq'ed for the speakers so if you put better speakers in they won't necessarily sound better and could actually sound worse.
Check my thread out (link in my signature). I think I replaced my speakers first before anything else.
Changing them is straight forward enough but you either need to buy / make mounting adapters or butcher the original speakers. But size wise pretty much any 6.5 inch component set will fit.
