Help wanted with bonding mobile to MMI

I'm a little confused with this !
I have MMI 2G High with phone prep / Bluetooth.
I want to bond two mobiles - a works Blackberry and a personal Iphone 4.
I've manged to do just that and realise I have to connect each one in turn to use either.
But I'm stumped about creating Profiles and Importing Phone Books.
1) Although I have the Iphone connected, I cannot see any Create Profile option in Name / Setup as per the manual.
2) I have managed to import the phone book from the Iphone to the Directory.
3) I assumed I could add the Blackberry phonebook to the Directory (or would this have to go via a second Profile) but when I try with the Blackberry connected the Import options are greyed out.
As a general question - here's the scenario - I'm driving along with both phones in the car. I'm now guessing that only the one that happens to be currently connected will be useable via MMI and that the system isn't clever enough to automatically connect the phone that a call is coming in on. In short I'll just have to choose which phone to have available for the journey.
If anyone would be kind enough to let me call them to talk through this setup I'd be most obliged. Been sat in the car for nearly an hour trying to resolve this . . .
Cheers
