B7 S4 Power Seat Fuse?

Post by teletubby » Mon Jun 24, 2013 7:09 pm

Hi,

The driver's seat has stopped working and nobody (even main dealer!!) seems to know where the fuse is?

It's not in the normal fuse panel is as much as I know, anybody here got any ideas please?

Thanks in advance.

Have you looked in the owners manual?

Plus if I'm right there are two fuse boards?

Yes, had a look, no help at all.

Where might the second fuse board be?

I think it is either under the bonnet or behind the glovebox. I just looked through my manual and the closest fuse I could see would be number 38. Your right though, none listed for the seat power specifically. Have you had a look and checked the seat plugs are still connected?

As far as I can feel it's still connected. Is there more than one connector?

I think there are quite a few plugs under each seat plus under the carpet under the passenger seat there are some modules too!

Can't see (or feel) any loose wires or find any other fuses.

Looks like it's off to let the local specialist take a look. :(

Check fuses 44 and 45. Does the passenger seat still work and do you have heated seats?

Just did some searching and found out there are some fuses and relays hidden behind the lower dash trim on the drivers side and there are fuses there for the seats.

Checked and both fine.

Yes, passenger seat works fine and no, I don't have heated seats.

Any idea how the lower dash trim come out / I can get access?

Thanks very much!

Not too sure how the dash panel comes off tbh. Try using the search on here. It is very useful at times
