I am so fortunate with the A14, always been empty when I am on it!! Met a number of bikers on there as well in the past :P

Cool, so looks like Bosch is the way to go ... no GSF here, so might see what I can pick up or get one one I get across, which is on the 22nd, so not gonna be down in time, hope you have a nice warm xmas!!!

I want snow, and a big car park! thats what I am asking santa for!

How is the lawnmower battery fairing? Any update on the main battery..is it knackered?

I had the lawmower battery in for about 5 days, this included short journey to work every day and out at lunch for 10 mins drive ... battery was fine, never struggled and even many starts without long drives it seemed to hold up well ...

The RS4 battery lost no charge in all this time sitting in my util room ...

I put the RS4 batt back in at the weekend, but have not had a chance to try the lights on for example to see if that will drain it ... it is starting ok, no problems there ...

There must be some device that is draining it over time, I suppose this device is either pulling more current that normal, or the battery can't charge up what it used to (although does not loose it on its own)

Perhaps the recent re-wiring sorted out a current drain that was there (bit like the bluetooth kit was poorly wired in my car originally) and all will now be ok.

Keep your lawnmower battery and some jump leads handy or some spanners....just in case!

Just to update this thread ...

Went to a battery man, my battery has a charge but very little power in it ...

Got a new battery, he tested with a meter in line to see if it was charging, it was, and with everything off, to see if anything was still on, it was not ... so, end result, looks like a duff battery!

Thanks for your help Paul :)

haha, nope, got a nice new VARTA in there now! I can just forget about for another 6 years now!!!

But, when that hillclimb comes around, I think the lawnmower batt might just find its way back in!!!!

Darren

got mine from there last year about £56.00 all in. Went a few weeks back to get the same for my Brothers RS4 and they have stopped doing the one for the RS4 :(

mobil 1 you mention is the 0W -30W , some may say its a bit too thin but this is debateable.
