Wow that is really good, no cutting up of the bumper etc.
But wouldnt the heat off the exhaust systems make them fall off? afterall they are just stuck on arent they?

You'll be surprised... There are loads of holes between the inside and the outside of the car. I would be surprised if you would need to create a new one.

Yeah no probs guys i'll be the ginuea pig for this, just get ur moneu together and i'll give u my bank details. Even though ive already got parking sensors but hey who cares.
Riz, the exhaust heat will no way affect the adhesion of the tape because it will not heat the bumper up to that extent for it to cause any damage coz if it did we'd all by moaning about blistering paintwork.
When u remove ur bumber there is already a rubber grommet going into the car so no holes will need to be drilled at all.
Seems like a pretty good kit and at that price u cant go wrong

I was in my local Audi dealer last week, Robinsons in Norwich, they had advertised some parking sensors for about £250. I am not sure if these were a fitted price but i think that they could fit all cars.

They should look like factory fitted parts once installed

I had one fitted on my car when I bought it the other month (rs4). It was a total waste of time ,or whoever fitted it originally didn't do it properly. It beeped continuously when there was nothing there, and when you were close to something it did nothing! also it beeped every time you engaged reverse. I coudlnt work it out at first as there were none of the detectors on the bumper.I had it disengaged in the end. I dont know who's manufacture it was?? Save your self £200 quid and just selotape two squeaky balls either side of the rear bumper when she goes shopping.

I simply walked up to the audi dealer and said he should fit the sensors in the back of the car. Cost approx £300 at swiss labor rates. Has 4 sensors that are integrated in bumper but visible. They had to drill the bumper and then repaint par/all of it so that sensors are in avus.

Only audio signal to indicate range. One short beep when rear gear engaged to indicate that system is operational. Overall works just fine! Sometimes it beeps and I think "what the hell, there is nothing there", but then looking again, there is a little ridge (1 inch high) or something similar... wow. But as you would in any case check before reversing, you would know what is coming and use the sensor only to indicate the actual distance to the tree, car, pillar, dog, whatever.

not cheap, but good investment (especially taking into account that I could not have fitted it myself...)
