RS4 Loom in an S4

Post by viperbl » Sat Mar 12, 2005 11:28 am

Hi Guys,

I have a 99 S4 and just had a 2.7 RS4 engine put in it. It is also having the S4 wiring loom taken out and RS4 one put in so I can take advantage of the the RS4 ECU and whole interior (excluding certain airbags)

Has anyone, or does anyone know of someone who has done this conversion before? Just wondering if there are any major problems I may come across while doing the work???

Thanks ...

there is a member on here called s4rs4 who may be able to offer some advice with this.
M3 CSL - Silver Grey, a few options.

I'm fairly sure the S4s didn't have the same electrical system as the rs4.
Main difference would surely be the fact that the RS4 runs a CANN bus, whereas the S4 (or at least mine) was more conventional point to point wiring.
