Problem with sat nav power supply in RS4.

Hi.

I have just bought a 2001 RS4. Today I removed the Sat Nav unit from the dash. I have refitted it but now it does not turn on and off with the ignition. Apart from that everything works but now I have to physically turn the unit on and off. Think I must have disturbed the switched live?? Any ideas? What colour is the switched live in this car??

THere is no switched live, it turns on/off in response to messages on the CAN bus.

Dave, there is a switched live on the RNS-D, there are 2 wires above the GND wire, lights then switched live.

Just picked car up from the garage. Stereo asked me for the PIN and now this problem has come back again. Sat Nav unit is RNS-E. Cant remember how I sorted it last time. Any ideas??
