Which tracker & tracker vs/with anti-jack

Post by s4dreamer » Thu Oct 30, 2003 11:25 am

Am picking up a new car on Saturday, but I won't say what it is because Phil will give me no end of grief about it

Suffice to say that it is probably attractive to tea-leafs.

I've been pondering the tracker route over the past couple of days and was going to have a NavTrak Proactive installed.

However, I'm now wondering whether it would be better to go with a more basic tracker and also install something like the Clifford BlackJax (and remote start )

The problem with NavTrak Proactive is that when you start the car, the ADR card has to be in the car (presumably near the sensor), so that would rule out the remote start option (which I'd like for those cold mornings, or for quick getaways ).

Thoughts/comments etc. BTW Phil, Technicar don't install NavTrak, so it would have to be the "Tracker" brand if I had the whole lot done by them.

It has got to be the Tracker, it is the only one that the Police take really seriously - as they all have tracker kit fitted to the car. besides having it separate from the car alarm means that any theifs have two boxes to find, one of which isn't making any noises or connected to the car alarm in any way!!

PS I would really recommend SQPlus in Manchester for this - 0161 748 1600
