multimedia adaptor off ebay

can anyone help me i purchused a multimedia adaptor off ebay for my rns-e to connect a tv tuner and dvd player, iv connected can h and can low and neg and pos wires then connected the rectangulr grey plug to the back of the rns-e but when i go to the source menu to find it its not there! iv doubl checked wires and every things fine can some one help me out here? item purchused :
