Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum. I've done a search, but not had any luck, so maybe you can help out a fellow modder.

I've currently got an agu (1.8 20vT) engine and the associated 6spd 4wd box (02M), ready to go into a car I'm building. However, before I cut the car to shreds, I'm also considering an RR 5cyl 20v unit.

Does any one have any idea how much the RR engine weighs and how much the quattro box weighs? If you can tell me how much heavier it would be than my current project engine and box, that would be as good!

I know they are heavy, but I need to know how much, in order to do my maths.

Any help you could give would be much appreciated - I would love to use the RR unit!

Also, if you have any leads or links as to where and how much I should expect to pay for a 5Cyl 20v and box for, that would also be much appreciated!

yea there might be a space issue depending on your car unless u cram the 5 cyl and box across the engine bay somehow
