fuel filter change
fuel filter change
I`m wondering if anybody has changed their fuel filter at kerbside motors? does the fuel tank have to be dropped to gain access?
RE: fuel filter change
Not done it myself, but it looks an easy enough job - no need to drop the fuel tank to gain access.

RE: fuel filter change
The fuel filter is easy to change on an S2 Coupe. The S2 Avant is a different story. You have to drop the tank to gain access to the filter.
Bare in mind that Audi petrol fuel filters are not considered a servicable item, so their placement isn't always in the best position to be so. That doesn't mean they shouldn't be serviced. I recently changed a fuel filter on a 50k mile S3, it was pretty much completely blocked.
