Basically to get 480bhp from the "old" 5 cylinder engine needs a bit of work and a few quid.

I have retained standard ECU and managment system
Complete engine rebuild, using custom machined pistons to reduce CR.
Uprated Arrow conrods
high lift cams from non turbo engine
Large KKK 26/27 #8 turbo
Massive front mounted IC
47lb/hr injectors
Head ported
Tubular exhaust manifold
3" turbo back exhaust with no cats
Custom boost hoses, turbo water and oil lines
And last but not least MRC custom map

My next car is gonna be a modded S4 as Im too young for an estate But with RS4 setup. Ditch the manifolds and turbos, tubular manifolds and K16's along with some huge injectors and a large FMIC we should see 600 ish BHP

Hey, it's good to evive the S2 forum, nothing much happens on here!
I want one of those babies - would prefer RS2 but really not keen on estates, but the S2 coupe is the biz

23rd it is! S2 can be fun, but its getting old now. The S4 is a nice drive. gonna upgrade the A4 to S4 engine spec in the future. Should be a right laugh with 2wd!!

Which is the most expensive part for tuning Audi S2 to 500bhp?

Engine rebuild is THE most expensive bit, followed by turbo and manifolds, injectors are reasonable cost

Where do i get the electronics?
What kind of turbocharger?
Where can i find the whole process of engine rebuild?

There are many threads on how do rebuild engines etc on S2forum.com

There are also loads of different turbos you can choose from. You can go from something like a K26/27 #8 hotside, which is what i have been using. Or the next step up is a K27/29 #9, this works well upto about 520bhp with the right manifolds.

And for custom mapping of such a beast i can highly recommend MRC Tuning. They have mapped many high powered S2's inc mine.
