You won't need tyres, more like elastic bands
Can't beat a bit of boost!

Looks nice mate.
Is it practical too?
Or do you suffer a bit of bodywork touching on a thrash?
Let's have some details: tyre size, rim width, offset, spacers etc

Re: S2 on 19s
Lee,
Not driven it as hard as I would usually - trying to drive it harder bit by bit and then try and find any signs of rubbing.
It is noticeably harder but very sharp on turn in and responding. It doesn't need to be that comfortable as it's not my everyday car(although it is surprisingly good - even with H&R and konis).
The wheels are 19" x 8" ET35.
Tyres are 235/35x19 Toyo T1-S.
I originally thought that ET35 was going to be too close to the steering arms/suspension mounts with 235s but I can get my fingers between them. I reckon I could have gone to to ET37 anyway and still been safe. The front wheels get close to the mudflaps when steering but don't touch.
Are you going to the S2 meet at the end of the month? I'm heading down for the weekend.

225/30x20 tyres would fit under, maybe 235/30x20 but couldn't find any!

Rears are a problem as they are very different between any avant and the coupe. Discs would need to be swapped as well as hubs - Too much of a PITA if you ask me.
Probably cheaper/easier to source the replica cup 1 wheels with the specific offset, CB for the S2. IIRC Milli Miglia are approved by Porsche for their replicas.

You can get porsche calipers on your S2 with other discs and custom brackets - and not bother changing the hubs/wheels. I'm not up on my brakes as I was lucky to get my car with an AP Racing kit, so I haven't had to upgrade it. If you look in the brakes section of www.s2forum.com there are lots of threads on using big reds etc. If you want the ultimate brakes (apart from ceramic) speak to Lee (S2Driver on here) about his 6 pot, 380mm (IIRC - might be 360mm) front brakes conversion and his 4 pot 330mm rear conversion.
