Squeaky Brakes

Post by DandH » Sat Oct 16, 2021 11:04 am

I have returned the car 3 times to repair the squeak...all 3 attempts failed. Will now insist they replace the pads and disks. I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue?

Had the same issue on my C7. Replaced disks and pads under warranty, which solved the issue. My C8 brakes squeak quite often, but I find that a spirited drive and some hard braking get rid of the issue. Soon comes back though.

Thanks All. The dealer has tried the 'heavy braking' method as well as having twice skimmed the brakes...the problem persists (si_b appears to have the same issue). Service from Milton Keynes Audi has been very poor all the way through and they have now suggested I will be responsible for the cost of solving this...despite that fact that they have been aware of the problem from almost immediately after I took delivery. I was too understanding and should have been more insistent from the start. Gloves on
