There’s not a lot of tyre on those rims. Pot holes are going to kill them!

What is the story if the car turns up with Hankooks? I seem to remember, when it was launched, Continentals were specifically mentioned. Would there be any grounds for getting them changed?

Just reading the spec sheet for the PE. The only real
Competition to these will be the E63s and the Panamera Turbo S. you could also throw in an Alpina B5 as M don’t do M5 Tourings (yet).
Audi will 1000% need to be on their A Game to better the others. Even then I doubt the RS6 will be as good (or better) handling car or as exciting. AMG’s tend to run hotter then advertised and are insanely aggressive and quick as I’ve found out.

Obviously not uncommon for a manufacturer to multi source things like tyres, but bit of a piss take when the Conti’s were part of the original spec! I’ve started to notice demo cars arriving at dealers, so far I’ve only seen Hankooks or Pirelli’s!

Obviously the Hankooks are appropriately rated, however i can't help but feel that they should not be on a car such as this, somehow it doesn't seem right?
A bit like pairing cheap shoes with a bespoke suit!
I guess it would be a little unnecessary but if mine arrives with them, i will be changing for Michelins.

I note from AHR's new video of the RS7 Performance currently at Oxford Audi that it was running the Hankook tyres. Disappointing.

So mine is going backwards. Having had a June build week for ages, I now get the email “ It is currently at status 00, meaning it is without a build week.”

What?

Getting a bit bored of this. Seriously considering cancelling and keeping my perfect Nardo Grey RS6 with 12,500 miles on it.

I’m getting very close to placing a deposit, been told currently 5-6 months, but that probably doesn’t mean anything….
