This is (in my opinion) a total joke.

I have never seen such poor excuse for a price increase.

The standard performance car; spec'd to the 'exact' spec as my standard carbon black (withstanding the remap) is about £7k more... That's a pretty expensive remap. Oh and it doesnt have the carbon....

Also we now have to pay £4500 for the 'tech pack pro' to get convenience key.

Big disappointment i'd say....

Yes... very disappointed.

If I spec a carbon car to match the outgoing standard carbon black car its well over £120k... The funny thing is even the 'gloss carbon pack' (the standard carbon black car bits) is another £500.

So the way I see it. As expected its circa £15k extra for;

• A remap.
  Stitched RS logos.
  New wheel design / same size.
  Dinamica head lining and door inserts
  ...and an accent colour in the carbon twill

At the moment you cant even spec the Tech pack plus on the carbon car?

Makes perfect sense....

• You can't get a spec for a car as it crashes!

• What happened to the new colours?

• If I take the base model and as the packs, is less then the carbon black (~£1K) and carbon Vorsprung (~£9K) not sure how that make sense ?

• If I want 4WS I have to take the RS Dynamic pack £500, but the forces me to also take £9K carbon brakes

Yep its a mess...

4 wheel steer is standard - if you click on the info button at the top for each model its listed on the standard performance.

Looks like a cut and carve of the German configurator where there are no 'model types' and everything is an option.

The carbon black wont let you spec the 'high tech pack' hence the difference from the Vorsprung. Also you get the special light wheels and £30 more per corner tyres....

Not impressed.

It does. Everything listed in the pack is in the Vorsprung information tab. Pano roof etc.

Very disappointing configurator. So much so my excitement has gone. Not sure I am going to order one as my perfect Vorsprung 2020 Nardo Grey has only 10k mikes on it.

Price points and options don’t seem to work very well. Pushed me back towards waiting and/or ordering an RS e-tron GT.

The final V8 RS6 ever and they can’t even release it properly. This is terribly poor. Let’s face it it’s not even a face lift and prices have rocketed.

I’m still waiting for my Carbon Black to be built - ordered 7 and a half months ago and now pencilled at week 21 2023 build. It’s beyond me how Audi don’t know when they’re going to make a 110k car….

I ordered the RS6 over waiting for a taycan or m3 touring and the wait turned out to be the same… I was told 5/6 months on the rs6 - not 13!!

I’d be surprised if anyone who ordered a performance yesterday will have it by this time next year.

Umm tis a little confusing! Spoke to my dealer today, he made it a little clearer but not much

Ceramics seem way over priced so they are coming off my list. Will waste most of my day refining spec but still going with a Vorsprung.

Apparently delivery is looking like Sept next year. They still have a few of the standard RS6's that have yet to be given build dates so post summer is their best guess for the performance. I also have an R8 on order and that's slipped now to September 2023 as well.

They recon they will have more info on build slots in the new year
