Good morning everyone,

I have a question regarding the Auto Headlights on my C8 RS6.

When I drive into work in the mornings I have to go through a checkpoint that requires me to turn off my headlights fully, to stop glare for the person checking my car and pass. When I select the light switch it just toggles between auto and main beam whilst moving, when stationary it cycles all the way to off but when you start moving again they switch on.

Is there a way of getting them to stay off?

I have to turn the lights off at a distance and drive towards the checkpoint so need them to stay off until about 15mph.

I don’t believe you can. What would be interesting is to find out at what speed lights automatically go back on. You may be able to stop, switch lights off and the crawl to/ through checkpoint.

I think I may be able to crawl at 5mph going to try it next time I drive it in the dark
