Ha - every buyer is different. For me it's a big deal, I have two kids and two dogs so the RS6 does make more sense but will wait for the perf, I think I would be gutted going from 2.8 to 3.5.

Are you saying a C7 does just over 2 to 60?

My two didn’t and one was 730bhp and I had a performance ?

Believe me my C8 feels every much as quick of the line as either of my C7s did.

No sorry I mean the drop-down from my F90 to the C8.

My C7 was about the same as the C8 but had a piggy on it. Could be I have to pull the trigger on a C8 anyway for space, could even be some nice discounts when all this has blown over.

The one thing the RS6 was always nailed down for was crushing speed/power - that was the party trick. There’s only so much a 2 ton car can do on an A road! I hope the performance version levels things up or I’ll be looking at something else.

Honestly I wouldn’t worry about the performance figures and magazine reviews. Go and drive one and I don’t think you will be worried that another car can beat you by .5 of a second to 60 or that they can beat your mid range by a fraction.
I have a noticeably faster car but honestly the RS6 has something about it that makes it better. It’s not all about the performance in my opinion.
Also if you do want more speed there are already warranty approved mods from ABT at 740bhp which is more than likely what the performance model will be anyway.
Abt for rich :
from 560 hp (C7) to get 700 hp you will spend 13.000 eur no thanks, it’s a rip off. Going from 560 hp to 666 hp cost 7.500 eur it’s just stupid
