I’m going in tomorrow or Friday, hopefully tomorrow.
What if the order date was indeed a late one, any advice?
Personally i would phone Audi UK and have a moan. Surly if you have ordered a car you would have some sort of paperwork. Receipt for the deposit, a printout of the order with the spec etc..

Got the order number and registered online, logged in but there is no mention of an official order date etc..
I have asked the dealer to send me actual proof of when the car order was sent.

All I see is the picture below-
Once you have logged into the myAudi page open a new tab in the browser and go to this link:

https://www.audi.co.uk/myaudi-public-ap ... s/xxxxxxxx

You will need to replace the xxxxxxxx with your order number and it will bring up a page full of text.

Copy and paste the text into this: http://jsonviewer.stack.hu/

On the top left of the page you will see a button that says Viewer and expand "data" and find "orderSaleDate" the date you find there is the date that the order went to the factory and also in there you will find "firstDayOfBuildWeek" that will give you a rough date as to when it will get built.

Hope this helps

MyAudi says ordered on 26/11/19

This is an extract from the transcript.
I'm surprised at how long it says before it goes into build

buildWeek "202018"
firstDayOfBuildWeek "2020-04-27T00:00:00+0100"
orderSaleDate "2019-11-26T00:00:00+0000"

I’m not convinced how accurate the myAudi website is:
Monday: due to go into build 6/4
Wednesday: due to go into build 13/4
Thursday: in build !!!
Friday: due to go into build 13/4

All really odd

How many levels are there in Order Status?

You like your Audis then according to your signature !

My sales exec got told off for describing the seats in a 2001 S3 as panda seats 😂

I had the blue Alcantara in my 2001 S3.

Nice to see your progression through the Audi ranks although other makes are available 😏

As of this morning it’s back ‘joined to production line’

Not sure I have much/any faith in these statuses 🤨

The Audi website is reliant on the cookie data stored on the computer when you last checked.

If you open an incognito window and check it may give you a more accurate answer.

Bump …

Hi all

Any hints on build time currently expected? Too early to check their tracking system.

I’ve been told to expect 10 - 12 months, but “could be anything”. So I’m expecting the worst and hoping for something marginally better.

:biggrin3:

Ordered last week, expected December/January. The real delays at the moment are on the RS3’s 14-18 months!!!

Thanks Michael

Same here, with ordering, and dealer has no real time line - he just nodded when I asked “10-12 months”. I have mentally hoped for 10 months, so around March. January would be a bonus and December would be a great Christmas present … to myself!
