Looks like the world will have to wait for the rematch with the current heavyweights.
Still the better looking car I think and no doubt a far better GT performance car than the rivals. £127k for the Vorsprung though?! Is it £127k worth of car is the question.
Also will it be a better handling and more (or even just as) exciting car as the rivals?
My opinion is ‘no’ but stand by to be proven wrong though depending on what the reviews are like. It covers other aspects better then say, the E63S estate I would predict.

Please report what the NVH is like compared to the standard car, ie since the ‘weight saving’ removal of some of the interior sound insulation.

Picked it up, lovely.

Initial impressions
-tech slightly updated/more refined
-those wheels
-NVH still good, feels tight, but probably due to it being new
-increase in bhp and torque noticeably on my short drive

Did you have DRC on your previous car?
Only had air on my last 4 A6’s (inc C7 RS6 and current C8 S6), but did recently test drive a C8 Vorsprung with DRC and was pleasantly surprised at the ride.

I’m probably not far away from placing a deposit on a Daytona Vorsprung, but probably with grey wheels, not brave enough for gold

Noticed a few times in pics of these cars, in the right most ring of the Audi badge when viewed from front, what looks like another camera, wondered if this is for the night vision assist tech?

Yep it’s night vision, standard on vorsprung. It also has alcantara steering wheel.

One thing I have noticed is that there doesn’t appear to be wireless charging anymore ( weight saving??)

Cost cutting more like…. actually probably shortage related. My ‘22 Vorsprung S6 I collected last November didn’t have it, or electrically adjustable column or matrix headlights!
