Diamond cut look amazing IMHO, even better in the flesh

I’ve only seen mine and one other also in matt neodymium gold. I suspect they look awesome in any colour. Has changing your spec impacted your delivery date?

Cheers

Michael
The reason my build date disappeared is because they are changing to the new 2024 spec RS6 with some unknown small changes. It should be reinstated when that is done in the next week or so.

First half decent review

Sounds better than the standard RS6 from what I can tell in the video

There appears to be many now appearing on YT these past couple of days, but they all seem to be US based, I assume the UK embargo hasn’t lifted yet, very strange.

The press day was in the US, not sure why there haven’t been many UK videos yet. It definitely feels more powerful and more taught in the miles I’ve done so far, comparing to the none perf.

Also started playing with night vision, which is a bit of a gimmick, but quite cool.

Just struggling to figure out of to make it not automatically switch to Apple car play

Picked it up, lovely.
Congratulations!!!

Now get a you tube account opened up and post some draggy 0-60's before the pathetic audi 'embargo' is lifted (in july!?!?).

You'd be the next big thing!
Raz Rhoken just did an RS7 PE short review and did a drag run.
Car looks brilliant and looks like Audi have upped their game.
Even Raz (‘Mr AMG’ himself) says that the RS7 sounds better than his Final Edition E63s which is quite something (I own a 2019 E63s estate which is pre filters so the sound is biblical).
The 0-62 time (3.2 secs for those impatient) won’t be that much different from the rivals I’ll wager.
New PE’s look the nuts I have to say but the price is also nuts…

Beautiful car indeed.

However. The exhaust is the same bit of kit and the engine is the same with a map (isnt it?) how does it sound sooooo much better?

Has anyone else had any rather surprisingly high insurance quotes?
the usual comparison sites were coming in at £5k plus and that is 50yr old no points, no claims living in the country!
Eventually NFU and another got it below 2k but it seems the Admiral is no longer interested.

Yes I started a separate thread on insurance a few weeks ago

I got quote from a comparison site in the mid to high £3k band. Double that of my GT3!

Admiral on my multi car policy dropped it down to around £1500-£1800 ish but still much more expensive than my current cars on the same policy!

Right, time to come out the shadows….

Although I’m a previous C7 RS6 PE owner, I’ve been a bit of an imposter lurking on here for a while now, as I had a ‘22 S6, yes the black pump user! Today that all changed….

Have been aiming for a C8 RS6 for a while now, and when I heard about the Performance I knew I had to have one. I’d planned placing a factory order within the next few weeks, but was being quoted 5-6 months for a Vorsprung in Daytona Grey, not unreasonable I guess. But then spotted online there were quite a few brand new unregistered cars in stock at dealers. So after a bit of negotiation and some compromise (really wanted Express Red interior and grey wheels, but had to settle on grey stitching and black wheels) I collected my dream car today! Norwich to Carlisle drive wasn’t just round the corner though!

Car does have matt carbon (my preference) and Pirelli tyres - they swapped out the Hankooks off another car!
