Off to spec my replacement this afternoon.

Really struggling with Audi’s shocking configurator! You think they’d just take Porsches which works really well!

From what I can work out, if I go for a base add all the packs and new wheels

• car £109750

• Tech pack £4500

• wheels £2250

• City pack £1525

• tour pack £1950

Total £119,975

Carbon £118,520( less tech)
Vorsprung £126,970

I can’t figure out what the extra £6k for vorprung gets? So different interior materials

From what I can fathom the Vorsprung has the following over the other models as standard:

Apart from the suspension plus, you get all that in the car I spec’d.

I’ll post something later this evening, hoping the dealers configurator represents reality

Just taken delivery of my new S6 Vorsprung Avant, bought through Drive The Deal (no connection), and I see they’re already offering the RS6 Perf. Just did a ‘dream spec’ build on a Vorsprung with pretty much everything inc ceramics and and came out at £127k, a £12k saving apparently.

I can't figure out what exterior trim the Carbon Vorsprung comes with.. My reading of the spec/configurator is that the mirrors, splitter, diffuser etc all come in matt carbon, which can then be spec'd in gloss carbon for extra.

The dealer, however, thinks that the exterior trim comes in plain black (like the old Vorsprung) which can then be spec'd in gloss carbon for extra.

Any ideas? Would seem odd to me that they'd call it Carbon Vorsprung if it didn't have any carbon on it to begin with..?

There are a number of inconsistencies. Lots of spec listed in the overview yet available as an options and lots of reference to the wrong car. I mean they still say we're getting an 'extendable rear spoiler' and 'heated steering wheel'... But they've been noted on the RS6 configurator for years.

Its all a bit sad really. Literally the end of an era and its a half arsed update with a remap. As I've said before its not even a facelift...

The finance calculator is still the standard car - you know the one you cant order anymore.

Been assured by my dealer that tweaks can be made until build week is confirmed so I will take a trip there to the dealer to refine in coming weeks

I can’t see what you’ve gone for, other than colour the configurator won’t let you drill down to the spec.

I’ve gone for similar, vorsprung Daytona grey ‘gold’ wheels. What else did you add as I noticed it’s about £1000 more than I spec’d

Thanks, looking forward Daytona again, same as my C7 performance, Nardo looks lovely, got it in my current RS6 but couldn’t get the same for my next car

No build date yet, I expect an update next week, but I assume it will be 10+ months out
