RS6 performance

Hi folks. I got confimed from 3 different sources that it would be release in Nov/Dec of this year. and production date is fourth week of 2023. (source from a factory leak by the way).

EU HP is planned to be 630 Hp vs current 600. no other details than that at this stage. no facelift planned for the RS6 C8. slight facelift for A6/S6 C8 only

Well I have an RS6 on order that likely won’t be built till the new year. How does it work with the performance? Is it an alternative option along side the standard or does the factory simply switch to performance only from a particular build week?

Anyone remember what happened with the C7

I see that Audi have announced a limited run (75 for the UK) of an Audi RS4 Competition. Be interesting to see if this is the route they go down for the RS6 performance…..

Oddly the RS4 competition seems to sit between the carbon and vorsprung price wise and doesn’t come with a HUD! Seems a little odd, I’d have assumed they would have started with a vorsprung and built from there.

I hope they don’t do the same with the RS6 performance/competition as I think a HUD is essential at the price point.

Looking to order a replacement rs6 but dealer says they have heard nothing on the performance model. Not sure whether to wait or order standard now....
