Is there any dron in lower rpm with open flaps?
I’ve done long drives with flaps open and closed. It’s louder than the sports exhaust which is the entire point of the exercise. I don’t find it drony at all but if you want quieter then stick to stock or I may suggest a quieter car/EV?
Cold starts are loud though in any mode so be aware of that.

Royal wheels did all the work as I didn’t trust myself to mess around with something as important as a steering wheel!
There will be lots and lots of videos online showing how to do it I imagine

I mean quieter in range of S5 V8 with Milltek I have owned, not in terms of stupid EV :bash: . Original sport exhaust, which is on my car is not bad, but any Milltek I have owned, sounded much better and pleasantly to my ears (I mean resonated version). :boohoo:

Milltek is the way ahead or you could spend more with AWE etc, Akropovic don’t do a B9 at all so you are restricted in what’s out there.
For all the will in the word it will never ever sound as good as a V8. The Milltek non res transforms the sound and now I have a Stage 1 on the car it’s a very different beast altogether. Not really driven it much to be honest with lockdowns for covid so time will tell if the car has become aggressive enough for me to keep it.

Not sure if you've made a decision already or not but I have a non-resonated Milltek system and like it a lot. Really comes alive when valves open up but very docile under normal driving.
I’m on the factory RS sports exhaust and with my Cete Controller forcing the valves open, there’s quite a bit of drone at 2000 to 2500 rpm, enough to loosen ear wax 😂. Would you say the Milltek non-res drones similarly to the factory exhaust?

I may be selling the Milltek separately as I’m now going to sell the RS and it will either go with or without the Milltek. You could buy it them and see for yourself!
The best adviceI can give you is find someone with a Milltek (or similar) exhaust and do a ride along with them. That’s the only way you will know for sure.
