Think it looks pretty smart, to be honest.

88 k though for an 'A5 coupe' :audibash:

It has been there for a while. There is something I don't understand going on, they don't seem interested in selling it. What was your impression?

I went there in March. When I told them I would not pay list because I knew RS5s were not selling well, the salesman told me it was sold.
Curious it's still there 3 months later.

My theory  is that Audi insist they have a display car and for some reason, the one they have is not costing them anything, so they are not concerned if it sells or not.

I was only browsing waiting to pick my car up after being serviced, so no conversations with sales.

I didn't look too closely at the spec, other than to notice the absence of ceramics and the addition of B&0. For me, a coupe with a plastic dash is not an 80k car. Ever.

I've used Basingstoke for years and they go through phases - alternating between oddness and quality in my experience. They were great with our SQ5 purchase and were excellent with a warranty claim around a broken seat which may have been a borderline claim elsewhere

As you know, they've only recently finished a showroom re-furb. To my eyes, they've just moved some internal walls around down stairs. Yet it was completely gutted.

They could alternatively be balls deep into the RS5 and have no leeway in it - margins also being protected with the refurb too. It will be dropping like a stone though. You'd have to really want that shade of blue to go for it.

It's possible is an HQ mandated stock car, but being un-sold for that long is embarrassing.

Very agreeable reception staff, indeed.

I have been a customer since 2007. Got to know everyone, manager was someone I knew outside of dealership, had integrity and sorted out the branch.

I had a brief BMW phase and so have been away for a year.
Now I go back (March) and all the staff have been changed by the new owners (or maybe they all quit). I took that as a bad sign.

I might go back for servicing if they keep the same receptionist :bigblink:

Reception busted me though, made sure I actually made an attempt at eye contact when I finished talking to her.

They've gotta be better than those though, they're only 100watt.

It’s not about the watts. It’s all about the hands. 🤪

Went by there today and the Blue RS5 is gone, from the showroom at least. Did you buy it Leonard?

Ha - no, not me. I won't be buying anything tasty at the moment. I'm considering dropping the cars for now because I think we're in for a bumpy ride come April 2019!

Looks more like Navarra than Racing Mica...
