does the face lift RS4 when in manual mode up shift its self on the red line

my 68 plate held the gear and bounced off the limiter if you don't change gear
as ive just watched a vid testing snow tyres and pitting the M3 touring against the RS4 and the driver calmed the gears shifted up even in manual mode

I remember seeing that same video and thinking that he wasn’t actually putting the RS4 into manual properly.
