Just been quoted £768 by audi preston to fit my front and rear dash cams, to rs4 b9, 4 hours labour only
Certainly won't be taking it there, has anyone got a diagram of what I need to do to fit myself, I have the loom so just need some pointers as to what to look for, thanks in advance

Does the pdf attached in reply to your last post on this not give you enough detail?

Thanks Jools I looked straight through that, my apologies, and sorry for not thanking you,
I should have said my car is an rs4 avant
I have looked through the pdf, so I would follow the A4 install instructions?
Many thanks

To be honest I don't know hand on heart if the RS4 installation differs from A4 installation.
I would think not, as in my search I couldn't find a specific RS4 avant installation document.
Additionally the RS4 is an A4, just a wolf in sheeps clothing.
I would start by removing the fuse panel covers and see if the required tapping points are the same and available.
Your loom cable lengths will dictate if the shown runs are viable.
Best of luck. :audibash:

So was a little complicated, so took to local fitter, however the loom that I was told was correct AUDI WIRING HARNESS FOR DASH CAM (traffic recorder 1.0 and 2.0) 4G0063511AA
Now fitter has told me that it isn't long enough, but should be able to splice, can anyone confirm if this is correct

The green 15 wire is ignition
The red 30 wire is constant live
Black is ground.

Many thanks in advance

Having a quick look your wire colours and attachment points look right.
The constant live looks like the garage door opener supply on my wiring diagrams, if fitted.

I hope this helps
