Has anyone actually lowered a B9.5 RS4?!

Hey guys,

I recently installed 034 Motorsport lowering springs to my B9.5 RS4 but really aren’t happy with the results. The front has come down nicely (around 15mm) but the rear looks unchanged. I’ve been in dialogue with 034 regarding this but it looks as if I’m going to need to return them and try a different brand. Question is, lowering a B9/9.5 seems to be rare online so I’m looking for photos of other members cars. Please post up and specify what mm and brand fitted. Here’s photos of mine in question

It doesn't look like the rear end has settled yet, have you tried loading up the boot and then unloading.
How did the new rear spring length compare to the old ones, its almost as if they got the front and rear springs mixed up when they were fitting them?
Does your car have DRC?
Does the car need to have the ride height recalibrated after the lowering, as if not, if it has auto leveling it may be trying to compensate for it reading low as the springs are letting it sit lower than stock and jacking it up to bring it back to where it thinks it should be.

The rear of the car must always be slightly higher than the front, that looks perfect, if you bring the rear lower it will kill the handling seen it many times

Didn't know sports suspension was an option, any idea what the Audi code is?

It wasn't. RS Sports Suspension was standard, and the option was RS Sports Suspension Plus with DRC (code 2MC)

Just some extra info, I just looked at my manual on steering and suspension.
My car has DRC looking at my build Sticker this is far RHS column second row down (2MC).
Cross referrencing this to the page from the manual my front ride height should be (bottom row in the table) 367mm +/- 10mm and rear 371mm +/- 10mm.
From this you should be able to do a comparison at least on how much the front has actually dropped by with your new springs and compare the rear with a non lowered car.
I'm guessing the 2MS in the running gear column is the non-DRC build, maybe someone else in the forum can confirm.

Thanks, I thought I'd missed something

Update:

So some interesting developments here. After back and forth with a supplier (who shall remain anonymous) it turns out they advised me and supplied me with the wrong springs. I’m also now learning that RS5/S4 springs are different to RS4 Avant springs, quite substantially! So today, I stripped the suspension down for a second time and fitted some H&R springs. Now the car sits perfect and I’m really happy it’s how I want it.

I am starting to believe that I’m the first person to fit lowering springs to their B9.5 RS4, there’s no info/images anywhere!

That looks better. I can see the RS5 / S5 springs would be different as the Coupe body is lighter than an Avant body.
Let us know if you suffer from any rubbing? It looks like you are running spacers as well.

How are you finding the ride? Is it a lot harsher than stock?
Also, as above any rubbing?
