RS4 Competition wheel alignment spec on a DRC car

Is it an issue?

I had my car wheel aligned yesterday and when I got home I noticed it said 'RS4 Competition (2MD)'. Spoke to the wheel alignment place and mentioned previously, the car has had wheel alignment and it stated 'Sport Suspension (2MC 2MS)' but they advised it doesn't really make any difference but if I wanted to have it corrected I can.

I didn't find anything adverse with how it felt/drove but maybe long term it may reduce tyre wear, not sure. Does anyone know whether this is an issue or not?

I've just done a quick comparison with the print out from my last alignment. It also says RS4 Compention on my print out although they set up the suspension to the spec's I gave them from Audi's Running Gear and Axles document from which I have attached excerts for you.
My car has DRC like yours 2MC (Sports Suspension) from the build Sticker.
There doesn't seem to be much difference only a few minutes here and there which may give you a sharper turnin on the uprated competition suspension.

Thanks Jools, very useful to note. Interesting that your spec sheet also had Competition on it. Perhaps these settings have just had a name change on the Hunter machines?

I can’t say I felt anything negative about the new settings mind. As you mention, it’s minute differences.

Hmm I think I’ll leave it as it is then.

Keep a long term eye on your tyre wear across the whole width of the tread on each corner an make sure they wear eavenly on each axle and at a rate your expecting.

Good point. I’ll have to make sure I let the next owner know to keep tabs on it as I’m putting the car up for sale in a few weeks
