Running in service

Hi All,

New here having just picked up the vehicle today. Do these need a running in service at all?

Mine didn't (in 2018). I think that manufacturing is so good these days that none do.
Current : 2018 F5 RS5 (Let's Fire Up the Quattro)
Gone : 2017 M3 CP
Gone : 2007 B7 RS4 ( :kissmyrings: )

They probably still advise a running in period keeping the revs low for the first n hundred miles though?

as long as you allow the engine to warm up and cool down you can red line it
ive done this with all my new cars an never had any issues
