Massage Seats On or Not?

Post by harey » Mon Nov 28, 2022 12:37 pm

Hi,

I've had my Sports Edition for a month, and haven't had the massage seats on yet. However, I've noticed (or it feels like) the lumber support does a cycle like a massage while driving for a period. Is this a 'feature' or a fault. Any ideas?

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris, unless I hit the button at the side no massage starts in my 2020 Vorsprung.
It’s a great feature however it doesn’t come on randomly for me
There are 3 types of massage & different intensities of each. Worth trying to see if they feel like what you are noticing

Thanks - I did think it was odd, and thus the question. But also thought, I wonder if this is a safety feature to keep the driver attention!

I think that the seat side bolsters are air inflated and you can feel them inflate when the ignition is turned on and deflate after the ignition has been off for a while.

Thanks - as per the 'Easy Entry Thread' I've found the bolsters inflating/deflating is linked to that setting on ignition.
