I’m extremely lucky to have just (3weeks ago) taken delivery of a brand new RS4, never really thought I’d see the day but it’s outside ! I had to wait the best part of a year but worth the wait for sure !

I was interested in which tracker people have had fitted. My insurance company didn’t want one this year but I think they probably will do next year.
I might just get one fitted anyway as I really don’t want to loose it but wondered which the insurance companies approve of.

The only tracker worth its weight is the meta cat5. Where abouts in the country are you? Its what i specalise in so i can point you in the right direction

Congratulations on the car OS555, very nice. I'm in a similar position but have always been put off by the remote monitoring of my day to day driving aspect ie being captured and potentially disclosed to others.

Would be interested in your view on how effective things like blocking of day to day journey statistics such as speed being gathered actually are.

Great looking motor, I use vodaphone from new and just extended another 3 years £400.
Works well, have tested their monitoring a couple of times they call to check within 5 mins

I forced myself to have a running in period up to 1500 miles, had the oil changed and been building up the revs gradually….. fantastic !!!
I don’t like the automatic gearbox, I can appreciate it’s engineering quality but I’d prefer manual no question.

I didn’t have to have a tracker in the end so haven’t bothered this year, I’d also be very wary of their monitoring your driving and where you go etc, I don’t like the idea of that, although they can easily do all that through the Audi app, also the car knows it’s in Europe and adjusts the headlights accordingly !
