Contemplating a new order

Post by GSD » Sat Mar 26, 2022 12:07 am

Hi all. First post here

I’m contemplating placing an order on a new RS4. I’ve managed to get 6% discount and been quoted 4-6 months. I was told there is a price increase from Audi on March 31st, so if I decide to pull the trigger, best do it before the end of the month.

Spec wise, it’s a carbon black C&S and RS sports exhaust.

I enquired about the M3 touring but was told this will be announced in June and won’t arrive before early 2023, and there won’t be any discounts available. Plus I haven’t made my peace with that front grill yet. And then there’s the new B10 RS4 which is scheduled for 2023, but that timing doesn’t work for me.

How are people getting on with their B9.5s? Would also appreciate thoughts on the above and whether the discount seems reasonable?

Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the forum :-) Discounts are hard to come by at the moment but if you are eligible you can get a good discount from Forces cars direct or from Griffon which you could use if you became a member of Boundless.

Neither will give you the full sales experience (I didn't get a key ring!) but you could save a lot of money. Otherwise 6% is about tops, good luck with the hunting.

As for the car itself it is absolutely amazing, a real hoot when you want it to be and a refined mile muncher when needed, my only niggle is that the fuel tank is a bit small and the standard suspension can be a little jiggly on some surfaces.

Thanks bud. I’ve decided to pull the trigger on the 6% offer. Re the DRC I’m struggling to justify the £2k… plus the potential reliability issues down the line / costs involved is a concern tbh as I feel this car might be a keeper.

6% off sounds pretty good. I got 4% off an in-stock new car but wanted a car quickly.

3-6 months sounds "optimistic".

I have a RS3 on order with not even a build date 4 months after order placed.

TX.

The reason why audi wagon looks perfect.
Also, a wagon has to be street and road for main, not for the track. Thats what audi rs focus on, the road and street. BMW M is very faster in track, but not comfort for daily ( I assum wagon = daily).
