Shall I sell??

I’ve just had a valuation for my car from WBAC.
It’s a 2020 Vorsprung with less than 4000 miles on it and they’ve valued it at £66700.
I’m sorely tempted at that money especially as it hardly gets used.
Decisions decisions…….

Given that there are other sites such as Motorway that'd probably give you even more..sell it.

Seconded-WBAC are the grand rip off merchants of the century-always undervalue for max profit.
Motorway are pretty good-I sold my B9 5 to ‘we buy supercars’ (absolutely zero link to WBAC) and they were brilliant so highly recommended

WBAC price is higher than estimate from Motorway.
It is in fact higher than a price I was offered back in October.
My head says sell it by my heart says keep it…..
Then I look outside and realise it hasn’t moved for a week.
I should sell it.

I rarely use mine, but I did have a <beep> box and missed being in a nice car whenever I went out, hence getting my RS4.

This is the eternal question! Having a nice car that you don’t drive that often and the thoughts creep in ‘what’s the point?’.
Only you can answer that question. Car residuals are ridiculously strong for most cars and despite a ton of internet experts predictions no one really knows when the market will settle. It sounds like you’re pretty much there and can ask for a strong price and can haggle. You have the asset they want and whereas before selling a car involved a ton of pi55 taking by dealers and buyers you can stick to your guns.
If you’re a petrolhead then I guarantee you that soon enough you will be craving for something nice to drive. You could scratch that itch by renting a performance car but that gets expensive very quickly and also forward planning.

Also had a tempting offer from WBAC - £65.5k for a Carbon black edition with 8000 miles on the clock / 15 months old. Also sorely tempted as when I do drive it I never go fast as I generally have the dog with me - or my 86 year old mother! And I'm mainly on long boring motorway or dual carriageway roads, I have a Mini for other local journeys...

Just for reference and as a tester I put my C7.5 RS6 through WBAC. Nov 2015 build.
Valued at £44,000
This is from a car with full ceramics, HUD, night vision +++++ (was £100k new)
Oh and one of the lowest mileages in the UK-currently 3650 miles (as it was in Audis private collection until mid last year).
So that gives you an indication of WBAC and their ‘valuations’.
And no I’m not selling it! Maybe end of the year who knows.

As nice as I’m sure your car is, it’s 6 years old, out of factory warranty and won’t go back to a main dealer to sell on.
I’m sure that’s taken into account when details go through the algorithms, especially age.
WBAC isn’t the place to sell older niche cars.
Mine is 2 years old, still under warranty and will probably go back into main dealer network, hence the good valuation.
Makes sense really.
Anyway, I’ve yet to see what the offer will be when I take it in!

Yes hence why I just did a quick tester. WBAC is the last place I’d sell my car-I’d rather run the obnoxious auto trader gauntlet (especially when it comes to selling RS cars) than them.
Incidentally mine does come with full warranty-as it was only released from Audi’s care last May it came with a full 2 year comprehensive warranty so mine has 18 ish months left.
It’s essentially a nearly new car that also happens to be 6 years old.

Wizzle and Motorway were well below the WBAC number for mine. And I would never risk selling a £65k car privately, it would be one of the buy your car sites or the buyer at Sytner or similar.
As it turns out I'm too busy to take it in so looks like I'll be keeping it for now....

WBAC way above Fontain and WBAC for my 18 RS4. Good to deal with but will chip you for chips etc.
The price above sounds about right for trade offer on 6 year old RS6 - although spec and mileage unusual so worth more to some.

Mark, do you mean WBAC was better than Fontain?
My local WBAC only 2 miles away so don’t mind a quick run down there.

That’s what it is, an estimate.
I’ve used it twice and the bids have been significantly higher than the estimate
