Wheel Spacer's

Post by wellzieRS4 » Tue Jan 18, 2022 12:27 pm

Has anyone fitted wheels spacers to their car, if so what sizes have you fitted, I've see a few posts people going wider on the back, like 20mm back,15mm front or 15mm back, 10mm front.
Im not sure on staggering them, id would of thought keeping sizes same front and back would be better but I'm not sure
Any opinions or pictures would be great
Im going to be fitting MSS adjustable springs too

im sure some one here did spacers on the standard wheels but i cant find the thread
an easy way would be place a peace of wood against the wheel up to the arch and mark he distance measure it then that would be the max spacer keeping the tyre inside the arch

I run 19s with 10mm all round. Perfect for me, and doesn’t look like I am trying too hard.

What spacers have you fitted and where did you get them
I’m struggling to find any that fit B9 RS4
Do you know what the centre bore size is

Don't know bore size. I used Bimmec (TUV approved) - this sort of thing: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333371543119 ... %3A2047675

CM Wheels also supply Bimmec, but the ebay ad looks perfect to me. Or contact a supplier and tell them what you've got and what spacer you need.

From the notes I made when looking:
The wheels for the RS4(B9) use a PCD of 5x112, centre bore 66.5mm and M14x1.5 bolt.
Standard bolt is M14x1.5 R13 27mm thread, 17mm hex.

Don't forget to get a set of new locking wheel nuts as well?

What wheels have you got? If standard RS4 wheels, they all have different offsets, so would potentially require different spacers.

Ive got carbon edition so its got 20in 5 spoke milled wheels, so the centre bore is 66.5mm but all the spacers i can find seem to be 66.6mm, would this be ok , when I've added my vehicle on eBay and some other sites they don't seem to come up with anything compatible or maybe I'm missing something

ET22 then... I'm using 10mm spacers on mine and they're the 66.6 ones.

I sent an email to email CM Wheels, with the following:

Hi

I'd like to order a set of 4 10mm wheels spacers, with bolts, locking wheel bolts and 2 keys, all in black. The website only allows for one key.

To fit the following reg: ???????

Many thanks.

Kind regards
