Just as a heads up. Not sure if still looking. But local dealers to me were offering the below on PCP

£850 p/m
36 months
£10k deposit (made up of cash/p/x)
All the usual over-priced alloy, tyre insurance and paint protection

Carbon black c & s
Sports exhaust
Red callipers

No idea if a good deal, but that was the offer.
£10k deposit plus £850 for 36 months, so £30,600 + £10,000 = £40,600 you'll and likely have no asset, just a lump sum balloon payment to make or give the car back and walk away having lost the lot.

We have an Elephant in the room in the form of EVs with Audi having thrown the gauntlet down with the Etron GT which is decently quick, the next RS4 is rumoured to be a hybrid. in 4 years time our fuel guzzling RS models will be decidedly less popular than they are now.

If I was worried about the amount I was losing I wouldnt be driving expensive cars.....

I'm down to owing just over the balloon now but trying to work out if I think there is some value in keeping that GFV rather than owning outright, where you still fund the depreciation and peee a large amount of money up the wall...

Or swap it for something else, probably electric as no matter how hard I try I cant get the numbers on an Alpina B3T to stack up....

I can't get the numbers to stack up on a RS Etron GT either....

On the Finance front if you do own the asset outright and look at a PCP, the maximum deposit Audi Finance will take is 40%, over that they want to give cash back.

Etron GT doesnt appeal to me, I'd be more likely to go Taycan Sport Turismo, where the numbers also dont stack up!!

Its weird, you can only put 40% down but you can pay off until you have I think £50 a month to pay (which is less than the interest on mine!)
