Instrument Cluster Software update...?

Hi,

Got a weird call from my Audi dealer, they want me to bring the car in for an Instrument Cluster Software update - apparently this isn't a recall and they said they were only contacting me as the car HAD been due to come in for other work which isn't now needed. The car is a '9.5' and there doesn't seem to be anything at all wrong with the Instrument Cluster (or much else for that matter!).

Anyone else had experience of this or anyone know what the Software update is?

If its the 90P5 recall it's to do with the USB...that's as much info as I got. They only dud the work because the car was in for something else.

If it’s free, take it. There might be a minor glitch that you haven’t noticed yet? On the B9 there is/was a glitch with the camera setting not remembering your choice. It was only after someone else on the forum had the same issue and Audi updated the software to fix it, that made me take mine for an update. All good now

Thanks for the replies - I'll go ahead with it, fingers crossed they don't break anything! :-)
