Drivers seat fault

Post by SamuelS » Sat Apr 17, 2021 9:15 pm

My 2021 RS4 seems to have developed a fault with the drivers seat.
All of the electric functions work, apart from moving it backwards. So strange..
Has any one had a similar problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks

What exactly do you mean? Do you mean it doesn’t move backwards?

Yes, exactly. All other functions work. But when trying to adjust the drivers seat to move backwards it is unresponsive.

Well then you have to set all the end stops for each adjustment. With the key on but engine off, press each direction to the end and hold. Seat back up and down, seat bottom front up and down, seat bottom rear up and down, then forward, then backward.

Exactly what happened to mine. Went in under warranty and they removed a stone from one of the channels. No noise. No grinding. Just no backward movement. Embarrassing.
