“Audi Sport” lighted logo on the ground when doors are open
Has anybody tried removing the “Audi Sport” projected logo on the ground when the doors are open to just lights without a logo. Having a graphic projected to the ground is so cheesy and doesn’t really provide any additional lighting. Would be great if it actually lit the floor. Otherwise, I’d probably tape it up so nothing gets projected.

I always think they do illuminate the ground and are useful. I think they look good and definitely not cheesy. You had to spec them too so you could have had plain projectors with no logo. Each to their own though so not judging.
Change them for plain projectors; problem solved.

Do they make plain protectors for the RS4? This is exactly what I’m after and am not sure if they made them plain. On a UK spec car I believe what I have with the cheesy “Audi Sport” wording is stock standard and not an option.nastro azzurro wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 6:15 pmI always think they do illuminate the ground and are useful. You can have them plain, which is stock or there were a couple of options with logo, Audi sport being one and a gekko the other. £100 option comes to mind but don’t remember to be honest.
Audi do the plain projectors (or logo) as a part.

I think that is an interior light. Are they the same?

I have the gecko. I love it.
My M4 had BMW M stripes. I lost times of the number of times passengers commented how much they liked it.
Each to their own. I certainly like them & on a dark Scottish night I can see where I step out.

I prefer a proper light because the current Audi Sport wording is so focused and small it really doesn’t do anything. More aesthetic than functional. The rear doors on the other hand are proper lights and work as advertised.spidmack wrote: ↑Wed Feb 17, 2021 5:09 amI have the gecko. I love it.
