Head Up Display

Post by RS4SG » Sun Nov 01, 2020 7:53 am

Hi all!

Am new to the forum, I am from Singapore and I just bought an UK export brand new RS4 B9.5 carbon black pack.

I realised it doesn't has head up display, is it an option?

It is a standard option on Singapore spec cars, but not on UK spec unless Vorsprung edition.

The other option that you don’t have is memory seat, but is standard on Singapore spec cars.

I found it a bit crap to be honest. You can't see it if you wear polarised sunglasses, which nearly every decent pair of ray bans or Oakleys are, so it's only any use at night or when you're not wearing sunnies
-------------------------------------------------------
Gone - 11/06 B7 RS4 Avant - black/black (Daily drive & kids taxi)
Gone - 05/13 B8 RS4 Avant - Suzuka grey (Daily drive & kids taxi)
Gone - 01/14 B8 RS5 Coupe - Short term car
Gone - 09/14 B8 RS4 Avant - Misano Red/Ceramics (Daily drive & kids taxi)

Current - 04/18 B9 Rs4 Nardo Grey
ZX10R Race bike - 210bhp and a few skid marks on the seat ;)

I dont find it hard to see with sunglasses
But it would be nice to remove the timer from the 2nd setting

Confirmed: can’t see it when a good pair of polarised lenses on
Confirmed 2: I wrote Audi to remove the stupid timer from RS mode and to put the rpm scale as they did for RS7. Thank said “thanks for your feedback will work on it”and probably throw away my mail. You know, who cares about MIB2 customers now that the new MIb3 is default.

Yes you are right. The rpm indicator lights appears on top of the no sense timer only when you approach the red zone in term of rpm. I would have preferred to see all the range.
